Revenge starlet Emily VanCamp opens up to the May issue of Lucky Magazine on what she looks for in a guy, what makes her self-conscious and her biggest fashion splurge yet.
The 25-year-old actress covers the fashion mag looking as wholesome and sweet as can be which is a far cry from the vindictive and mysterious character of Emily Thorne she plays on ABC’s hit show Revenge.
What do the two Emily’s have in common?
They both date the same man! Emily’s character dates her real-life boyfriend Joshua Bowman‘s character Daniel Grayson.
Emily shares the qualities all woman should look for in a man, “I think women look for that quality in a man of being a good dad whether they’re immediately wanting to be a parent or not. It’s important to me that a man is good at taking care of people.”
One thing she can’t stand in boyfriend?
“I’ll tell you one thing I don’t want,” she tells Lucky. “A guy who sits around and plays video games and smokes pot.”
So we can assume the cute and charismatic Joshua is none of those things (phew!).
The blonde beauty even dishes about he biggest asset insecurity, “I don’t have much of one [a butt]. she says.” I have a total ballet butt.”
Emily the goes on to reveal her biggest fashion splurge since all her success, “This [Chanel bag] is probably the biggest fashion splurge that I have indulged in.” Why you ask? “[Because] this is a classic and I’ll have it forever.”
